The Customer
A Fortune 500 enterprise, our customer is one of America’s largest private telecommunications companies that provides high-speed internet, cable TV, home automation, and phone services. Also, one of the largest broadband providers in the US, this company pioneered multi-gig internet and fiber-optic expansions and is ranked consistently highly among the top cable and internet service providers, with a strong focus on smart city initiatives.
The Challenge
Our customer aimed to deliver advanced connectivity solutions and upgrade network infrastructure to meet the growing demand for internet and broadcast services, ensuring success for the Pro Football Championship. The last Big Game, hosted in New Orleans 11 years ago, was notorious for a 34-minute power outage during the third quarter. Our customer sought to be thoroughly prepared to power the venue with disruption-free connectivity driven by cutting-edge fiber-powered networks to prevent any outages and disruptions.
The Solution
Softility played a key role in the customer’s cross-functional team, upgrading and testing communication networks to ensure a flawless, connected experience for fans and customers at Louisiana’s premier sports venue and throughout the city. Our NOC 2.0 automation and NOC-as-a-Service solutions significantly enhanced service speed and reliability by integrating the latest service assurance, monitoring, and observability technologies into the customer’s Network Operations Centers (NOCs).
We deployed extended telemetry across both existing network infrastructure and temporary event-specific equipment to support the event. This telemetry was designed to proactively alert NOC-as-a-Service teams at the Operational Assurance Readiness Bridge – a command and control center providing checkpoints, coordination, and communication for more than 12 hours through the end of the broadcast.
Our teams conducted mock drills simulating network latency and disruptions across multiple departments to assess response times. With proactive monitoring and AI-driven telemetry, we successfully identified potential issues, optimized performance, and ensured a seamless network experience for one of the world’s biggest sporting events.

- Real-Time Performance Optimization: AI-driven predictive capacity planning, with dynamic traffic rerouting and load balancing for peak game-time demand, ensures uninterrupted service for millions of concurrent users.

We also prepared a comprehensive leadership report detailing the network performance across the neighborhood, ensuring seamless connectivity outside the arena. This analysis, powered by our Service Reliability Hybrid Fiber-Coaxial HFC Service Health tool, provided real-time insights into network stability, capacity, and potential service impacts.
